Ambassadors of Hope Awards Luncheon

Vogel Alcove celebrated its 25th anniversary with the Ambassadors of Hope Awards Luncheon honoring community leaders for years of dedicated service to homeless children. The guest speaker was Chris Gardner, made famous for his inspirational story of overcoming family homelessness. Longtime Vogel Alcove supporter Ebby Halliday was the honorary chair of the luncheon on Wednesday, October 24, 2012, at the Ritz Carlton, Dallas.

Santa and Jack Frost visit The Alcove

Jim Adler, “The Texas Hammer,” came dressed as Jack Frost to visit the children of Vogel Alcove, and brought along his pal Santa Claus and plenty of presents!  The children received bags filled with mittens, hats, pillows, blankets, socks and more. PJs for all the children were sent by the Adler law firm in advance so everyone would be ready for their PJ party with Jack Frost and Santa Claus! PLUS, Adler presented a $2,500 check to Vogel Alcove to help its mission stay strong another 25 years!  Check out the photos here!

2011 Holiday Store
