Our 9th annual Day 1 DFW event took place on January 1st at the Irving Convention Center. This family-friendly event included a variety of exciting activities, performances, and interactive booths, offering fun for all ages. By participating, attendees helped support our mission, as all proceeds from the event went towards our efforts to assist homeless children and their families. The event fostered a sense of community and provided an enriching start to the new year.
On March 30, 2024, we hosted our 32nd Annual Arts Performance Event at the Omni PGA Frisco Resort. This year’s event featured an unforgettable performance by the Barenaked Ladies. The night kicked off with an open-bar reception, followed by a curated dinner and an evening filled with music, dancing, and laughter. The event not only provided an enjoyable experience for attendees but also raised significant funds to support our programs for homeless children and families in Dallas.
In April, we celebrated National Volunteer Week, highlighting the incredible contributions of volunteers from Park Place Dealership and the Communities Foundation of Texas. Volunteers engaged in enriching activities at Vogel North and enhanced our garden, a crucial space for therapeutic and educational activities for the children. Their dedication not only supported our programs but also created lasting memories for the children we serve.
Our ongoing Be Kind Challenge continues to inspire acts of kindness throughout the community. Participants are encouraged to perform small acts of kindness and share their experiences, fostering a culture of generosity and support. This initiative not only benefits those on the receiving end but also strengthens our community bonds and raises awareness about our mission.
