The wheels on the bus go ‘round and ‘round…thanks to RBC Foundation-USA and other donors!

In April 2015, Vogel applied for funding to purchase a 15-passenger school activity bus to meet the small-group transportation needs of our children, families and staff. We were pleased to receive the grant and have made excellent use of the bus for field trips, site visits and travel to and from shelters. Many of our parents walk their children to and from Vogel (or push them in strollers), crossing major highways and enduring all kinds of weather. With the bus, we can safely and easily transport children and families between their shelter and our facility. The bus also allows us to provide more off-site enrichment opportunities for our children.

While we have been using the bus for months, we just recently gave it the “Vogel Flair” – a new exterior look featuring our logo. You can’t miss us now!
