When families arrive at Vogel, they are often facing overwhelming challenges. The instability of homelessness leaves them in need of immediate support and guidance. Although Vogel does not offer housing, we provide critical services that address the educational, emotional, and health needs of homeless children and their families.
What Families Experience:
From the moment they arrive, families are greeted with compassion and care. Our team works quickly to assess the family’s needs and connects them to the resources that will provide stability and support. This first interaction is crucial—it’s where the journey of hope begins.
What We Do:
At this stage, we begin the process of transforming uncertainty into hope by offering families the support they need to move forward.
One of the greatest obstacles homeless children face is the disruption in their education and development. The instability of their living situations often leads to delays in learning and socialization. At Vogel, we provide comprehensive early childhood education programs that help children build a solid foundation for their future.
What Families Experience:
Children are welcomed into a classroom environment that offers structured, play-based learning. This provides them with the stability they need while also helping them catch up on important developmental milestones. Our teachers focus on creating a safe and nurturing space where children can explore, learn, and grow.
What We Do:

Homeless children often face significant health challenges, including lack of access to medical care, poor nutrition, and emotional trauma. At Vogel, we ensure that each child’s health and wellness needs are met, giving them the physical and emotional care they need to flourish.

What We Do:

Parents work closely with case managers who help them set and achieve personal and professional goals. Whether it’s finding employment, accessing social services, or learning how to better support their children, parents receive the tools they need to build a more secure future for their families.
What We Do:
As children progress through our education and wellness programs, and parents gain the support they need, families begin to see a clear path forward. At Vogel, we don’t provide housing, but we do offer transition support, helping families connect with housing resources and long-term services as they prepare to leave our programs.

Over time, families begin to see the results of their hard work. Children are excelling in their education and becoming more confident in their abilities. Parents are building job skills, gaining employment, and creating a more stable environment for their children. As they prepare to transition out of Vogel, families are better equipped for the future.
