Vogel Alcove Welcomes 2021 Summer Intern, Elise Little

It’s summertime here in Texas and at Vogel Alcove! That not only means the start of Camp Vogel, our summer camp for school-aged children, we also welcome our summer interns through the Klein Internship, a partnership with Jewish Family Services of Greater Dallas.

We want to extend a huge warm welcome to Elise Little, one of 2 interns we’ll host this summer! Elise Little is a rising senior at The Hockaday School. Elise is excited to work with Vogel Alcove this summer because she knows it will be a rewarding experience to intern at an organization with such an amazing mission. While Elise does not yet know what career path she wants to follow, she does know that the skills she gains at Vogel Alcove this summer will help her in whichever field she chooses to work.

This summer, Elise hopes to learn more about how a nonprofit works. In her free time, Elise loves to dance ballet and jazz, and she dances both through her school’s dance program and at an outside company. She’ll be taking over the blog duties for the next few weeks, regaling us with tales from her adventures as a Vogel Alcove summer intern.
