What is your role at Vogel?

In my position as the Senior Director of Community Programming, I am responsible for the vital planning of our community program opportunities, which encompasses programming and services offered at our off-site locations within the community.  

 My role is to work collaboratively with and supervise center Directors at our community sites locations, Director of Family Support and Mental Health Services, and the Manager of School-Programs, while ensuring quality and comprehensive services are being offered at our off-site childcare centers, within in our school-age programming, and family support and mental health department.    

Why do you choose to work for Vogel?

Our mission is outstanding.  Throughout my professional career as a social worker, I have provided direct services to children and their families, including homeless families.  Working at Vogel has provided me with so much more than I could have imagined when it comes to working with and servicing homeless children and their families.  The opportunity of being a change agent for a family is not only rewarding, but also fulfilling.

Tell us a little about yourself and what you do when you’re not at Vogel:

I am originally from Indiana and have been married to my husband for 26 years.  I have two sons (one has passed away) and 2 grandchildren (people find it hard to believe).  My greatest passion is traveling anywhere in the Caribbean.
