Thank You to the Yale Club of Dallas for visiting our school and volunteering with us during their Yale Day of Service on May 12! We truly appreciate you all for being committed to helping the children and families of Vogel each year! We look forward to you continuous support!
You all graciously assisted us by creating 1000 Bye Bye Bags for the homeless children and families that we serve. In addition to assembling the snack bags, you all helped us in spreading 90 yards of mulch over our school age playground AND building our new greenhouse. We hope that you enjoyed your visit.
This is now the 4th year that Yale Club of Dallas has selected us as their Yale Day of Service Project. They have now assembled more than 3,500 bye bye bye bags for our children. We can only hope that next year will be bigger and better.
By engaging with our organization, you see how it truly takes a village to support each child as they overcome the trauma of homelessness. By taking the time to create the bye bye bags, you now see that daily necessities, such as food, are taken for granted everyday. Luckily, because of you, our children will now have an evening snack to eat as they make their way back to their shelter.
- Our hope is that you all left with a sense of what Facing Homelessness may look like and what you can do to help combat it.
- As we continue our daily program, we’d love to gain your FINANCIAL SUPPORT. Whether it’s a one-time gift or a small monthly contribution of $10; any amount will definitely go a long way as we continually help the homeless children and families that we serve.

Thanks for all that you do and what you will continue to do!
