Vogel Welcomes Summer Intern Olivia Hayes

Date

This summer we’re host to three summer interns! Welcome Olivia Hayes!

Olivia Hayes is a rising junior at JJ Pearce High School. She is thrilled to serve at Vogel in support of its mission. She aims to help people and families surpass homelessness and create a better environment for themselves.

Olivia is interested in volunteering, particularly helping those faced with homelessness. As a girl, she and her family volunteered at The Stewpot, making sandwiches for the homeless. She also created artwork for an art show that benefited The Stewpot, and participated in its annual Christmas adoption program.

Olivia hopes that she can take the information learned during her time at Vogel and use it to continue her community service efforts. She is eager to help out and will strive to make a positive impact on the children at Vogel.

Olivia recently completed a camp counselor leadership program at Rocky River Ranch in Wimberly, Texas. She hopes to mentor young girls over the next few summers.

Olivia plays the cello in her high school orchestra. She represents JJ Pearce High School as a varsity cheerleader and for 10 years she’s studied the piano.

We are excited to have her!
