During the Summer months when DISD schools are closed, we host school-aged children in our program, Camp Vogel. Last Summer, we teamed up with the sock company Dead Soxy to create custom socks, inspired by pictures the kids at Camp Vogel drew.

We received a lot of great drawings from the kids, and couldn’t possibly decide which designs would go on to be made into socks at Dead Soxy, so we asked our donors and friends vote for the top three favorite socks. The collaborative minds at Dead Soxy then took the winning designs and made our kids’ dreams a reality:
