Day 1 DFW 2022’s annual fireworks show was cancelled on New Year’s Day 2022 due to weather. But, we have exciting news to share! As our special gift to the community, we have partnered with FC Dallas to bring you the best fireworks show in DFW. On Saturday, August 27, 2022, the FC Dallas soccer team will close the evening’s match against Real Salt Lake with the spectacular fireworks show we missed on January 1st. A portion of your ticket purchase to the game will be donated to Vogel Alcove to help the homeless children and families we serve.
Vogel Alcove welcomes a new board chair and several new board members who will help strengthen the organization’s work of “rewiring brains, repairing hearts, restoring families.” The moves bring diverse skills and expertise that are crucial to addressing the problem of family homelessness.
