Our Families, Our Stories

Homelessness is more than a just man standing on a street corner, it’s entire families.

Often they are led by a single parent with multiple children and no support system. They are fighting to survive. Without intervention, the trauma of homelessness can cause life-long mental, physical, and emotional damage.

Housing is essential to ending homelessness. Still, families also need food, employment, childcare, education, transportation, mental and health care, and supportive relationships in order to thrive.

Vogel’s services and programs are helping families heal their trauma,  empowering parents to build stability, and letting kids just be kids.

Below is a collection of personal experiences, photos, and videos about the families at Vogel. Click each image to read the story.
